Cocklestorm are distributors of 2 different styles of Oakio deck boards; Iniwood and Proshield. Iniwood is the first generation of wood plastic composite (WPC) products, whereas Proshield is the second generation.
Oakio Iniwood deck boards are made from high quality hardwood fibre and high density PE resin. Each board is made up of 55% oak wood fibre, 35% plastic resin and 10% additives. Oakio Proshield deck boards are co-extruded, with the inner core being that of the Iniwood board, capped with the same material as golf balls.
By using Oakio deck boards, they will create a decking area that is not only stylish, but also durable, low maintenance with no cracking or splintering. It will be sure to outlast timber decking without all of the manual labour and costs involved with the upkeep of timber.
Material Structure
Oakio composite decking is environmentally friendly due to the materials used during manufacture. Iniwood deck boards have a hollow composite profile and is manufactured from 55% oak wood fibre, 35% plastic resin and 10% additives. Proshield is a semi solid board with the iniwood material used in manufacture with the golf ball capping.
Specifications
Iniwood deck boards are 3.6m in length, 147mm in width, 21mm in depth and only weigh approximately 9.7kg. Proshield boards are also 3.6m long but 140mm wide, 23mm in depth, weighing only 10.5kg.
